Clusters and regional schemes

Introduction

Especially for small and medium-sized organisations it is not always easy to reach and to keep the standards of international EMS. It is oftentimes asked to much of these organisations to bring up the personal and monetary resources for such a project which focuses only environmental issues.

Therefore, especially on a regional level, there are existing approaches, trying to enable these small and medium-sized organisations to implement an EMS standard. These approaches like national schemes, regional labels or innovative clusters and convoys are specially confected to the needs of this organisations.

This section will present either regional or national labelling schemes and cluster approches.
