The Brussels Institute for Management of the Environment, or IBGE, is the environment and energy administration of the Brussels Capital Region. IBGE acts, from the regulatory standpoint, as a research, planning, advisory and information body, as well as an issuer of permits, and a surveillance and control agency. IBGE, in cooperation with other administrations and trade associations, created the voluntary Eco-dynamic company label. Its aim is to encourage companies and Brussels bodies to make a voluntary commitment to improve gradually their environmental performance and to set up, also gradually, an environmental management system.

 

 

 

ICHEC Entreprise is a Brussels’ based adult training institution. The courses offered at the Business and Management College of Education follow a double objective : Professional, she introduces progressively the student in the complex world of the company. Scientific, it prepares to get a critical look in order to be able to play a dynamic, economically and socially useful role. Following that purpose, the institute is continuously open to the environment and the realities of the world.
Since 2003 ICHEC provides a special degree in environmental management and specific vocational trainings on environmental management for Brussels’ SMEs.
